Portable Gaming Monitor Supported by SnakeClamp Flexible Gooseneck Arm
Today we have some pictures submitted by a gaming software developer. Although the ASUS ROG Strix XG17AHP portable gaming monitor came with a tripod stand, this customer wanted a solution that didn't take up valuable desk space. So he turned to SnakeClamp:
This monitor has a standard 1/4"-20 tripod thread on the back so it can easily be attached to our Camera Ball Head. An added benefit of our ball head is that you can tilt (up to 90 degrees) and swivel it in combination with the flexibility of our gooseneck tube arms. The monitor is shown here supported by our 18" Heavy-Duty Flexible Gooseneck in black.
This customer chose our Megaclamp mounting base option which can attach to either a round object such as a pipe or railing or a flat object such as shown here:
Additionally the Megaclamp has two mounting holes so that the flexible gooseneck arm can be attached either to the top or the side depending on your requirements.
UPDATE: Another customer duplicated this setup and discovered that at 2.33 lbs the monitor is a little too heavy for the 18" Heavy-Duty flexible gooseneck. This monitor actually requires our 18" Super-Duty gooseneck which can support 2-1/2 lbs.

SnakeClamp Webcam Stand Supports Logitech Webcam at Eye Level
A very pleased customer recently sent us pictures of her SnakeClamp supporting her Logitech webcam at eye level. This webcam is used in conjunction with a desktop PC monitor that does not have an integrated webcam.
Shown is our 18" medium-light duty flexible gooseneck arm which is great for lightweight webcams. It can support 1/3 lb. without bending. Attached to the end of the flexible gooseneck tube is our stainless steel Camera Mount Adapter.
In her own words:
I’m so glad I found your site in a Reddit discussion thread! The gooseneck is perfect for repositioning my webcam. Now I'm at eye level with my clients instead of looking over their heads! Thanks so much.
Here is a view from the front:
You can build your own webcam stand with your choice of many flexible gooseneck arm and mounting base options or choose from one of our preconfigured webcam stands.

Creating Beautiful Light Fixtures with SnakeClamp Flexible Gooseneck Tubing
We recently received some pictures from a woodworking customer who used our 18" Heavy-Duty Flexible Gooseneck Tubes in Black to fabricate a custom flexible arm light fixture. To say that we were impressed is an understatement!
This custom fixture was made from a 14' long piece of driftwood found on the shores of Lake Huron. Although our flexible gooseneck tubes have female threaded end adapters, you can use our lamp nipples so that you can pull wires through and attach the gooseneck with a nut.
Here is another view of this beautiful fixture:
Should you find yourself on the southern end of Lake Huron in Canada, stop by Lake Life Studio (a glass studio) and see it for yourself!
Here is one more view of Lake Life Studio:
We'd love to share your flexible gooseneck arm projects with our customers! Whether it's art or you've solved a unique mounting and positioning challenge please send your pictures to support @ snakeclamp.com. Thanks!
