Even though this clamp was designed for a purpose other than what I used it for it works perfectly. The threads were well formed on both sides and it went into place like it was designed for that use. I used it as an adapter to use on the base of a telescopic ham radio antenna with M10-1.5 threads so it would fit a 3/8-24 mount. It's strong, well made and does what I needed it to. Just imagine how well it works for what it was really designed for!
