Nicely finished base, powerful magnet!

Wasn’t sure how strong the magnet would be, but as soon as I used it I had no more concerns. I stuck it on a thick steel table and had a very difficult time getting it off. If the surface you are putting it on has mass, thick steel vs thin steel, it will hold very tight

This base and the entire system has a nice practical design and good quality. This is a very strong (scary strong) magnet it can be slid with no small amount of force after installation but it likes to stay put. Wear gloves as a precaution it could pinch off something you would miss. This can be a very good solution for a wide range of applications.
