Today we are pleased to announce the newest addition to our line of mounting base options for your SnakeClamp - our 6" x 6" Square Base:

The Square Base is made from 1/4" thick steel and features a durable black powdercoat painted finish.  It includes a countersunk center hole and a 3/8" stainless steel flat head screw and washers for attaching SnakeClamp brand flexible gooseneck or rigid arms.  It weights about 2-1/4 lbs. which is the perfect weight for stable mounting of small tablets, cameras, webcams and the like.

The top side has a single hole for attaching your flexible gooseneck or rigid arm:

The bottom side has a countersink for the 3/8" stainless steel flat-head screw. Note the included felt pads to protect your work surface:

We've been selling our popular Table Clamp mounting option for about 8 years now.  A while back a customer needed to mount the flexible gooseneck perpendicular to the table clamp rather than inline with the original hole.  So we took them to a local machine shop and had another hole added.  This makes the Table Clamp so much more versatile so we decided to implement this improvement to all of our new Table Clamps:

With this additional attachment hole the Table Clamp can be used, for example, to attach a flexible gooseneck arm vertically from a bed headboard, vertical bed frame, etc.  Each hole has a rubber pad to protect your attachment surface.

The Table Clamp can attach to any flat surface between 1/4" and 1-5/8" thick.  If you have a wider surface check out our larger Megaclamp.
