New York Edge, a non-profit that offers after school and summer programs to thousands of students annually in more than 100 schools across all five boroughs and Long Island, has found success in using SnakeClamp camera mounts for their stop motion animation programs. Stop motion animation is a filmmaking technique where objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames to create the illusion of movement. When the series of frames is played back in sequence, the objects appear to move on their own.
