Custom Flexible Gooseneck Tubes with Colorful Finishes

Posted by Gerald Zuckerwar on

In addition to our standard “in stock” flexible gooseneck tube designs, we also manufacture many custom goosenecks for our customers. Our gooseneck tubes can be made to your specifications – with many options for length, strength, flexibility, inside diameter, outside diameter, end adapters and coatings/coverings. Please contact us for a quote.

Our in-stock designs are available with chrome plating or black electro-plating. But we also have the capability to finish your custom design gooseneck with PE (polyethylene) plastic, silicone or paint. Here are some sample colors with the PE on the left and silicone on the right:

The PE coating is thinner, generally about 1/2mm, and tighter to the gooseneck because it is “heat shrunk.” Silicone is thicker, generally about 1- 1-1/2 mm, and popular in healthcare industries where the gooseneck must be kept sanitary.

There are many flexible tube manufacturers in the world but as many of our customers have learned it is not easy to source a consistently high-quality product. Even after the gooseneck design is finalized each production run requires that the machines be set up with the proper wire sizes and settings to obtain a quality product. The outer iron wire must be appropriately sized for the inner spring wire. The spacing of the spring coils must be correct. The wire materials must be of proper grade and quality. The adapter threads must be correct and of course the finish properly applied. If your gooseneck manufacturer has let you down please contact us. We’ve being doing this since 2010 and have learned how to do it right.
