We have a new item now available for sale – our part # SCP-90 “90 Degree Angle Adapter.” This part creates new possibilities for our customers by allowing 90 degree connections between flexible gooseneck and/or rigid arms. 90 Degree Angle Adapter from SnakeClamp Products This part was originally designed to be a hinged joint, with two identical pieces joined together with a knob on each side. However we discovered that the surface area between the two chrome-plated pieces was not large enough to create a strong enough connection to support a suitable weight. Regardless, we now include this part with our Machine Guard, which allows customers to mount the polycarbonate shield parallel to the gooseneck. It can be used for other uses as well – such as this double-gooseneck example: Double Gooseneck Example with Two 90 Degree Angle Adapters The 90 Degree Angle Adapter has our standard 3/8″-24 male threads on one end and a 3/8″ hole on the other.
