Mounting Plates by SnakeClamp Products

Today we are pleased to announce the latest addition to our growing line of SnakeClamp flexible arm products – the Mounting Plate SnakeClamp.  Every now and then folks call us looking for ways to fasten various devices – radios, bar code scanners, VoIP microphones, controllers, etc. – to our flexible gooseneck arms.  Now with our new line of Mounting Plates that is easily done.

SnakeClamp ABS Plastic Mounting Plate

Mounting Plates are available in three sizes: 3″ x 4″, 4″ x 5″ and 5″ x 6″.  They are machined from 3/8″ thick black ABS plastic and have a counter-bored hole in the center.  This allows our 3/8″ stainless steel button-head screw to be recessed into the plate so that the entire surface is available for mounting items.  There is also a spring washer arrangement between the 3/8″ screw and the flexible gooseneck arm which allows the Mounting Plates to rotate 360 degrees yet remain tight.

ABS plastic is very machinable – so you can easily drill holes into it and attach items with screws.  Velcro® can also be used for items where a permanent attachment is not desirable.
